Cement sales in Morocco exceed 10.8 million tons over nine months
A A

Cement sales in Morocco exceeded 10.86 million tons during the first nine months of 2025, marking an increase of 10.61% compared to the same period last year, according to data from the Ministry of National Land Management, Urban Planning, Housing, and City Policy.

Official figures indicate that sales of cement for distribution topped the list with 5.96 million tons, followed by 2.71 million tons for ready-mix concrete, and over 1.11 million tons for pre-mixed concrete. The quantities allocated for infrastructure reached approximately 704,000 tons, while around 311,000 tons were directed to construction projects, and more than 49,000 tons were used for mortar.

In September 2025 alone, cement deliveries amounted to 1.22 million tons, registering an increase of 12.48% compared to the same month last year, reflecting the sector’s ongoing dynamism.

These statistics are based on data released by the Professional Association of Cement Companies, which includes companies such as Cimencam, Holcim Morocco, and NovaCem, which joined in January 2024.
