Atlantica Sanad Launches First Insurance for Electric Scooter Users in Morocco
Atlantica Sanad Insurance has announced the launch of the first insurance product specifically designed for electric scooter users in Morocco. This initiative aims to support sustainable mobility within cities and enhance road safety, particularly as the number of users among young people and urban workers continues to rise.
The new product covers third-party liability, providing compensation for bodily injuries and property damage that the rider may cause to others. Additionally, it offers protection for the rider themselves by covering medical expenses and hospitalizations, along with financial benefits in the event of death or total or partial disability resulting from road accidents.
The company also offers flexible insurance packages, starting with basic civil liability coverage, and extending to additional options that include legal defense and litigation, tailored to meet the needs of scooter and small electric bike users with a maximum speed of 25 km/h.
