The Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, Abdellatif Hammouchi, has granted an exceptional promotion to a police officer holding the rank of Security Guard, who worked in the mobile intervention unit of the Quneitra Security Directorate. The officer passed away due to injuries sustained in a traffic accident while fulfilling his duties to protect citizens and ensure the safety of their property.

The Director General has tasked the central services responsible for human resources management to register this promotion to the rank of Police Chief in the deceased’s employment record, along with arranging the necessary benefits for his family and relatives. He also directed that condolences be offered to the officer’s family and that they receive the necessary support to cope with this tragic loss.

This initiative reflects the commitment of the General Directorate of National Security to honor its employees and appreciate their sacrifices, particularly those who give their lives to protect citizens and serve the security causes of the nation.
