The Minister of Health Visits Tetouan and Inspects the Regional Specialized Hospital Project and Other Health Institutions
On Thursday, Amin Tahraoui, the Minister of Health and Social Protection, conducted a field visit to the city of Tetouan, covering several health institutions and medical projects as part of efforts to enhance public healthcare services in the regions.
The minister began his tour at the regional specialized hospital project, which spans over 3 hectares with a capacity of up to 380 beds. He reviewed the progress of the construction work and emphasized the need to expedite the hospital’s preparation to support health services in the Tetouan province.
Subsequently, the minister inspected the regional hospital of Saniat Raml, where he assessed the quality of healthcare services, the performance of medical and surgical departments, and the readiness of the available equipment at the facility, which has approximately 330 beds.
During his meeting with health professionals, the minister reiterated the ministry’s commitment to improving working conditions, enhancing human resources, modernizing equipment, and providing a safe and motivating environment to ensure the quality of health services offered to citizens.
This visit is part of a series of tours by the minister to monitor the reform and development of public health institutions, in line with royal directives aimed at strengthening the healthcare system and improving its services nationwide.
