The General Delegation for Prison Administration and Reintegration at Ain Sebaa 1 Prison clarified that the transfer of inmate (A.B) to the hospital was not due to any health crisis but rather was based on a pre-scheduled medical appointment to monitor his health condition.
This statement was released on September 12, 2025, in response to circulating reports claiming that the inmate suffered from a severe health issue. The administration emphasized that such false claims aim to sensationalize the situation and attract views at the expense of the truth, thereby harming the institution’s reputation and its inmates.
The Delegation warned those spreading these allegations about the irresponsible dissemination of such information, indicating that continuation could lead to legal and administrative consequences.
