Nadia Fettah: Morocco is Committed to Supporting Central Africa and Enhancing South-South Cooperation

Express TV: Mustafa Filali

The Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah, reaffirmed in Casablanca Morocco’s commitment, under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, to supporting South-South cooperation and promoting joint development on the African continent.

This statement was made during the opening of a roundtable on investment dedicated to financing the National Development Plan 2024-2028 of the Central African Republic, with the participation of its president, Faustin-Archange Touadéra, and several senior officials. Fettah noted that Morocco’s hosting of this meeting reflects His Majesty’s vision based on African solidarity and highlights the Kingdom’s expertise in mobilizing financing and developing partnerships between the public and private sectors.

For his part, the Minister of Economy, Planning, and International Cooperation of the Central African Republic, Richard Bailo-Kota, considered this event a pivotal moment for his country, which seeks to mobilize around $12.5 billion to finance its strategic projects, expressing pride in the partnership with Morocco as a reliable destination for hosting such initiatives.

The opening session witnessed the participation of several government officials and Moroccan diplomats, alongside key players from the public and private sectors.
