Morocco imposes electronic visas on fans of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025
Morocco has mandated that a group of African fans wishing to support their teams during the Africa Cup of Nations, set to take place in the kingdom starting December 21, obtain electronic visas.
Fans from Algeria, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Gabon, Nigeria, Senegal, Togo, and Tunisia are now required to apply for an electronic visa specifically for the tournament to enter Morocco. The visa application process will be open from September 25 until January 25 of the following year, and applicants must provide proof of hotel reservations and match tickets to ensure their entry into the country.
This measure aims to avoid any organizational mishaps and prevent attempts by individuals to enter the kingdom without hotel bookings or financial means, which could result in their staying during the tournament illegally.
