Monday Weather: Hot Conditions with Thunder Showers Expected in Several Regions
The weather on Monday will see a noticeable rise in temperatures, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology. The conditions will remain hot to relatively hot in the western plains of the High Atlas, the Souss region, the southeast, and the interior of the southern provinces.
Weather reports anticipate the formation of low clouds filled with fog or local light rain along the northern and central coasts, alongside the development of unstable clouds over the Atlas mountains, the Souss region, and the northeastern part of the desert provinces, which could bring about thunder showers.
Additionally, some areas are expected to experience somewhat strong winds along the central coast and in the south of the country, with the possibility of local dust dispersal that may affect visibility.
As for temperatures, the minimum will range between 22 and 27 degrees Celsius in the central regions, the southeast, and the interior of the southern provinces, while other areas will register between 16 and 23 degrees. The maximum temperatures are expected to see a significant increase, especially in the south.
