Marrakech: Arrest of a 34-Year-Old Involved in Reckless Street Riding and Seizure of a Motorcycle
Police in the Marrakech Security Directorate apprehended a 34-year-old man on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, suspected of engaging in reckless motorcycle riding on public roads, endangering citizens’ safety and the welfare of road users.
The investigation began following the circulation of videos on social media showing a group of individuals riding motorcycles at excessive speeds in dangerous manners. Subsequent police operations led to the arrest of two suspects last Monday, and further inquiries identified a third suspect who was arrested yesterday.
The operation also resulted in the seizure of a motorcycle believed to have been used in these activities. The detained individual is currently in police custody under the directives of the competent public prosecutor, pending the completion of the investigation to uncover further details of the case.
