King Mohammed VI Presides Over the Commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday at Hassan Mosque in Rabat

King Mohammed VI presides over the commemoration of the night of Mawlid at Hassan Mosque in Rabat

The Ministry of Royal Affairs, Ceremonies, and Honors announced that the Commander of the Faithful, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him and grant him victory, will preside over the grand religious celebration to commemorate the night of Mawlid, tomorrow evening, Thursday, at Hassan Mosque in Rabat.

The ministry’s statement explained that the religious ceremony will commence at 7 PM (11 Rabi’ al-Awwal 1447 AH, corresponding to September 4, 2025 CE), featuring the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, along with praise for the Prophet, in addition to religious lectures that highlight the spiritual and human values embodied by the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.

This celebration, which His Majesty has traditionally presided over annually as the Commander of the Faithful, reflects the royal care for religious rituals and the ongoing commitment to preserving the Islamic identity of the Kingdom, which is based on moderation and adherence to the noble values of the Prophet’s biography.

This religious occasion also serves as a reaffirmation of the Moroccan people’s attachment to the sacredness of the Imamate and their deep connection to the throne of their blessed ancestors, all within a spiritual atmosphere characterized by tranquility and reverence.
