Is Salim Amallah knocking on the doors of the Belgian League again?

Is Salim Amallah knocking on the doors of the Belgian League again?
A A

Salim Amlah’s name has once again taken center stage in the Belgian press, following revelations from “Walfoot” that the former Real Valladolid player was recently offered to Anderlecht, despite the summer transfer window closing weeks ago.

Belgian regulations allow clubs to sign free agents outside the transfer window, which makes Amlah a strong candidate. He previously enjoyed a successful stint in the Pro League with Standard Liège, where his impressive performances garnered interest from European clubs.

According to the same report, Amlah’s name appears on a list of players awaiting an opportunity to revive their football careers, while Anderlecht seeks immediate reinforcements capable of adding value to the team.

Although his future remains uncertain, the mention of his name indicates a potential return to Belgian football in the near future, especially given his experience and familiarity with the local league, which gives him an advantage over many other available players.

Moroccan and Belgian fans alike are eagerly anticipating the outcome of negotiations, awaiting Anderlecht’s final decision, which may pave the way for Amlah’s return to where he once shone.
