On Thursday, Nasser Zefzafi delivered a speech from the roof of his home before attending his father’s funeral in Al Hoceima, emphasizing that the nation comes above all considerations. He reiterated that the interest of the nation remains fundamental, no matter the differing opinions and stances.
Zefzafi expressed his gratitude to the General Delegation for Prison Administration for allowing him to attend the funeral proceedings, commending the significant efforts made by the delegation in this regard and describing it as a commendable humanitarian initiative.
In his speech, he clarified that when he speaks of the nation, he refers not just to the Rif, but to all of Morocco, from Tangier to Lagouira. He added that any differences in ideas or interpretations ultimately serve the national interest, affirming his readiness to sacrifice his blood for the nation in all its regions—its south, east, and north.
With this statement, Nasser Zefzafi put an end to attempts by some to exploit his situation or use his name to promote separatist agendas, reaffirming his connection to the nation and its territorial unity.
