Fatima Zahra Waryaghli, journalist and member of the executive council of the National Association of Media and Publishers, delivered a remarkable presentation today at the association’s ordinary general assembly. Her elegant presence reflected the image of a modern Moroccan woman, complemented by her calm and confident demeanor, which set a positive tone for this important organizational event.

As the second vice president of the association under Idriss Shehtan, Waryaghli embodied the essence of female leadership within media institutions. She conducted the proceedings with notable poise and professionalism, presenting a contrasting model of a woman who successfully combines elegance with seriousness, and a refined appearance with substantial content. Her speech was precise, concentrating on the core issues at hand and framing the vision of the National Association of Media and Publishers for the upcoming phase.

In her address, she highlighted the role of the association under Idriss Shehtan’s presidency, asserting that the achievements thus far are the result of a collective commitment to enhancing the status of media enterprises and improving their working conditions. She emphasized that the association is steadfast in its plans to develop the sector through practical mechanisms, primarily by strengthening continuous training programs for journalists and providing innovative support for emerging media enterprises, which she considers the cornerstone for achieving economic sustainability and ensuring greater professionalism in the national journalism field.

Waryaghli did not limit her discussion to technical and organizational objectives; she also shed light on the human aspect of the association’s journey, recognizing journalists as the backbone of the sector and asserting that providing them with a healthy working environment is the true guarantee for elevating the profession. This human dimension is not new to her; she has long been associated with social and civic initiatives addressing journalists and their surroundings, which has earned her widespread respect within and beyond the journalistic community.

As the deputy president of the National Press Council, Fatima Zahra Waryaghli has solidified her status as one of the most influential female voices in the media field. A proud daughter of the north, she entered the challenging and demanding profession with determination, successfully establishing her name in journalism and becoming a reference in competence and commitment.

This year’s ordinary general assembly of the National Association of Media and Publishers was not just an organizational stop; it also served as an opportunity to showcase the new face of Moroccan journalism represented by Waryaghli—a face that combines professionalism and humanity, along with a distinguished presence and practical contribution. This positions her today as one of the leading female figures shaping the aspiration of youth toward playing leadership roles within national media.
