A royal delegation oversaw the delivery of a royal gift to the shrine of Sidi Yahya Ben Younes in Oujda on Sunday, commemorating the 27th anniversary of the passing of His Majesty the late King Hassan II.
The gift was presented during a significant religious ceremony attended by the Wali of the Eastern Region and the Governor of Oujda-Angad, as well as the regional representative of the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, Abdelhamid Idrissi, along with several elected officials and local representatives.
The event included the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by prayers asking Allah to protect the Commander of the Faithful, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, and grant him support and success for the benefit of the kingdom’s prosperity. Attendees prayed for the well-being of Crown Prince Moulay Hassan, and for His Majesty’s brother, Prince Moulay Rachid, along with all members of the noble royal family.
Participants also prayed for the souls of the late King Mohammed V and King Hassan II, asking Allah to envelop them in His vast mercy and grant them a place in Paradise.
