In 2024, Tangier Med handled a record-breaking 10.24 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU), marking an 18.8% increase compared to the previous year. This performance is attributed to ongoing investments in port infrastructure, improvements in maritime operations, and reduced maneuvering times.

Located at the Strait of Gibraltar, Tangier Med possesses a strategic geographic position that enables it to efficiently serve maritime routes between Europe, Africa, and Asia.
