Serious Traffic Accident Involving Orlando Pirates Coach Abdul Salam Wadu and His Staff
On Sunday night, a tragic incident occurred involving Moroccan coach Abdul Salam Wadu, the head coach of South African club Orlando Pirates, along with five members of his coaching staff. They were returning from a match against Chippa United, which ended in a 3-0 victory for the Pirates.
According to an official statement from the club, the bus carrying Wadu and his team stopped to assist victims of a prior traffic accident on the road. Shortly thereafter, another vehicle collided at the scene, resulting in serious injuries among the coaching staff.
The injured coach and staff members were quickly transported to a nearby hospital, where they are currently receiving the necessary medical care.
