A French official praises Morocco’s excellence in clean energy and automotive industry
While the European Union seeks reliable partners to address energy challenges and industrial transformations, Morocco continues to attract international attention due to its achievements in renewable energy and automotive manufacturing.
In this context, Dominique Astreux Sasson, Chair of the Economic Affairs Committee of the French Senate, commended Morocco’s dynamism in these strategic sectors during her visit to Rabat on Tuesday, considering the kingdom a model for energy transition and the development of innovative industries.
Following her meeting with Minister of Industry and Trade Ryad Mezzour, the French official noted that Morocco’s experience in clean energy projects serves as an important source of inspiration for France and Europe, especially in the search for safe and sustainable alternatives.
She also highlighted the growth of Morocco’s automotive industry, emphasizing that the kingdom has successfully built an integrated production system encompassing thermal, electric, and hybrid vehicles, while the European sector faces a profound crisis.
Astreux Sasson stressed the importance of enhancing Moroccan-French economic partnership as a gateway to developing joint investments that serve the interests of both countries and align with global transformations.
