The Wydad Athletic Club Returns to Morocco After Friendly Match Against Qatari Al-Sadd
The Wydad Athletic Club’s delegation returned to the homeland today, Monday, coming from the Qatari capital, Doha, after playing a friendly match against Al-Sadd as part of the Friendly Cup competitions.
The Red Club conducted a training camp in Turkey before heading to Qatar, which included a series of friendly matches as part of their preparations for the upcoming football season.
The regular time of the match between Wydad and Al-Sadd ended in a 1-1 draw, before penalty shootouts determined the result in favor of the Qatari team, with a score of 5-4.
The red team continues its preparations for the new season, during which it will participate in three competitions: the Professional League, the Throne Cup, and the African Confederation Cup.
