Crown Prince Moulay Hassan received Palestinian children participating in the 16th edition of the summer camp organized by the Bayt Mal al-Quds Agency, at the Royal Palace in Tetouan on Monday. This initiative was ordered by His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

This reception reflects the ongoing care His Majesty the King, as the head of the Jerusalem Committee, extends to the holy city and its residents, as well as his continuous support for the agency’s programs that implement social and humanitarian projects for the benefit of Palestinians, particularly women, children, and vulnerable groups.

This year’s camp, named “Moroccan Neighborhood,” runs from August 10 to 26 and includes the participation of 50 Palestinian children aged between 11 and 14, accompanied by five supervisors. The activities include educational, cultural, and sports events, along with trips and visits with Moroccan children.

During the reception, the children and supervisors, alongside Mr. Mohamed Saleh al-Charkawi, the agency’s managing director, greeted the Crown Prince, who took a commemorative photo with them and presided over a reception hosted by His Majesty the King in their honor.

The Palestinian children presented a symbolic gift to the Crown Prince, while Mr. al-Charkawi offered a photo album documenting the activities of this edition.

Since the launch of the summer camp program in 2008, 800 Palestinian children and 80 supervisors have benefited, visiting various regions of Morocco to witness the depth of Moroccan solidarity with the Palestinian people.
