Royal Air Maroc Strengthens Air Connectivity Between Marrakech and French and Belgian Cities
Royal Air Maroc has announced the launch and enhancement of several direct flights from Marrakech to a number of French and Belgian cities starting October 10. This initiative is part of its efforts to reinforce the air links of the kingdom with major European tourist markets and to establish its position as a strategic partner in support of the national tourism sector.
The company’s CEO, Hamid Addou, confirmed that this move aims to meet the needs of Moroccans living abroad and foreign tourists, while also enhancing Marrakech’s status as a primary tourist destination. He added that the airline continues to play a pivotal role in implementing the strategic roadmap for the tourism sector leading up to 2030.
Under the new program, the airline will operate two flights weekly between Marrakech and Toulouse on Mondays and Fridays, as well as between Marrakech and Lyon on the same schedule. Flights to Nantes will launch on October 11, with two weekly flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays, while the Marrakech-Bordeaux route will start on October 12, also offering two weekly flights on Thursdays and Sundays.
The airline is also increasing the number of flights to Marseille and Brussels by adding new flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays to Marseille and Thursdays and Sundays to Brussels, with schedules tailored to meet the demands of tourists and Moroccans living abroad.
These new destinations are part of the “non-stop flights” network connecting Moroccan cities such as Oujda, Agadir, Tangier, Nador, Fez, Rabat, Dakhla, and Laayoune with various European destinations. Tickets for these flights are now available through the airline’s official website, call centers, and authorized travel agencies.
