Reports have revealed that Wydad Athletic Club is seeking to sign forward Ismail Khafi, currently playing for Qadsia SC in Kuwait, as his time with the Kuwaiti team comes to an end amid a crisis with his coach, Tunisian Nabil Maaloul, making him closer than ever to returning to the domestic league.
Khafi boasts extensive experience in Moroccan and Gulf football, having previously won the Throne Cup with Royal Army.
On the national team front, Khafi has worn the jersey of the Moroccan local team and celebrated victory in the “CHAN” championship.
