Reports: Newcastle Wants Bilal Khannous

Reports: Newcastle Wants Bilal Khannous
A A

Reports indicate that Newcastle United is interested in signing Moroccan international Bilal Khannous, a midfielder for Leicester City, in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Journalist John Percy, affiliated with the English newspaper “The Telegraph,” noted that Newcastle is keen on Khannous alongside other clubs in the Premier League, including Leeds United, which might intensify the competition for his services in the coming weeks.

Khannous contributed to Leicester City’s victory by providing two key assists, leading to both winning goals—one for Westergaard in the 54th minute and another for Vardy in the 87th minute.

His performance in yesterday’s match earned him a spot in the ideal lineup for the opening round of the EFL Championship, according to the “SofaScore” platform, with a rating of 8.2.
