Fawzi Lekjaa motivates the national team ahead of the CHAN final and announces a substantial financial reward
Fawzi Lekjaa, the president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, personally stood by the local team as they prepared for the final of the CHAN tournament, which will take place tomorrow, Saturday, against Madagascar in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.
Despite the clash with meetings of the African Football Confederation (CAF) executive committee, Lekjaa chose to follow the team live from the “Kasarani” stadium to convey a message of support and motivation to the players before this decisive match.
During his visit to the team’s camp, led by coach Tarik Sektioui, Lekjaa emphasized the importance of reclaiming the title and achieving Morocco’s third championship victory in this tournament’s history, especially after the team’s absence in the last edition in Algeria.
According to specific sources, the federation has allocated a financial reward of 500,000 dirhams for each player in the event of winning, in an effort to enhance the players’ enthusiasm and increase their focus during the game.
