Denmark summons the American Chargé d’Affaires over attempts to interfere in Greenland
The Danish Foreign Ministry summoned the American Chargé d’Affaires on Wednesday, following a report aired by a public television channel indicating “attempts to interfere” in Greenland’s affairs, the self-governing territory within the Scandinavian kingdom.
The ministry, quoting Foreign Minister Lars Løkke, emphasized that any interference in the internal affairs of the kingdom would not be tolerated, confirming that the American Chargé d’Affaires was called in for a meeting to discuss the matter.
