A Communication Caravan to Enhance Urban Planning and Housing Services for Moroccans Abroad
The Ministry of National Territorial Development, Urban Planning, Housing and City Policy launched a proximity caravan on August 2, 2025, from the city of Tangier, under the slogan “Urban Planning and Housing Serving Moroccans Abroad.” This initiative is part of a comprehensive campaign to bring its services closer to Moroccan citizens residing abroad.
The caravan will tour ten Moroccan cities across various regions of the kingdom until August 31, 2025, as part of a strategic vision placing Moroccan citizens at the heart of the ministry’s priorities. This includes providing operational and informational support to better understand programs and services, with a particular focus on the “Housing Support” program aimed at enabling citizens to secure decent housing.
The ministry has implemented several practical measures across the twelve regions, including the establishment of reception and guidance spaces within central and regional services, opening unified service counters in commercial agencies of urban development companies, and creating reception cells in urban agencies and border crossing points. Additionally, open days will be organized to introduce the ministry’s various tasks and services.
The ministry also aims to facilitate access to urban information through the “Tadmir” geographic portal and digital platforms, alongside direct communication and simplification of administrative procedures, ensuring an effective response to the housing and investment needs of Moroccans abroad in their homeland.
