An investigation has been launched into an incident of inappropriate conduct towards an immigration candidate near Ceuta.
The Royal Moroccan Armed Forces announced an urgent investigation following the circulation of a video on media and social platforms, depicting a member of a naval patrol behaving inappropriately towards an individual believed to be an irregular migrant, near the occupied enclave of Ceuta.
The statement clarified that the investigation aims to precisely determine the circumstances of the incident and verify the authenticity of the claims made in the circulated video, emphasizing that such behavior is completely unacceptable.
The Armed Forces also underscored their full commitment to respecting human rights and preserving the dignity of all individuals, asserting that all disciplinary and legal measures will be taken against anyone found to have overstepped or been involved in wrongdoing, in line with the laws and regulations applicable in the Kingdom.
