A legal broker launches an attack on the Kenitra Festival while seeking “benefits” from collective lands

As Kenitra prepares to launch its first edition of the festival in celebration of the 26th anniversary of the Throne Day, a war of words has intensified in recent days on social media platforms, evolving into an organized campaign aimed at undermining the event before it begins. Opposing voices, described by observers as “orchestrated,” attempt to sway public opinion to question the festival’s objectives, in a scene some link to a hidden struggle over interests and unresolved issues within the region.

According to information obtained by Express TV, these rights groups have resorted to hired writers and Facebook accounts to attack the festival after the Kenitra regional governor refused to respond to requests and files outside of legal procedures, particularly those related to collective lands and restructuring.

Sources added that this rejection angered a certain broker in the human rights field in Kenitra, especially since he is known for exploiting “collective and restructuring files” to achieve financial gains, prompting him to try to pressure the authorities by targeting the festival. It was noted that leaders from the Justice and Development Party have also joined the campaign, coordinating with what has been described as “Facebook cells” to broaden the attack.

These movements come at a time when Kenitra has been experiencing major developmental projects in infrastructure and the rehabilitation and restructuring of several neighborhoods for nearly a year, as part of a program aimed at improving services and living conditions for residents.
