A delegation from the Moroccan Office of Industrial and Commercial Property, led by Director General Abdelaziz Babeki, is on a working visit to South Korea from August 25 to 29, 2025, aimed at strengthening cooperation and exchanging technical expertise, as well as gaining insights from the Korean experience in developing industrial property management systems.
During this visit, high-level meetings were held with the President of the Korean Patent Information Institute, Song Hun-hyun, and the Deputy Commissioner of the Korean Intellectual Property Office, Mok Seong-ho. Discussions focused on future cooperation prospects, particularly in the area of artificial intelligence-based management systems.
South Korea, which ranks sixth in the Global Innovation Index (GII), serves as a leading model that the Moroccan Office of Industrial and Commercial Property aims to leverage to support and enhance the industrial property system in Morocco.
