African Championship 2024: The Lions Reach the Quarterfinals

The Moroccan national team has secured a deserved spot in the quarterfinals of the African Championship for local players, after defeating the Democratic Republic of Congo 3-1 today, in the fourth and final round of Group A matches.
Coach Tarik Skitewi’s squad successfully found the net early, with a goal from Oussama Lamlioui in the 8th minute, while the Congolese team equalized in the 43rd minute.
In contrast, the “Lions” sealed the match in the second half, with a penalty goal scored by captain Rabii Harimat in the 70th minute, followed by a second and third goal from Lamlioui in the 80th minute.
