The National Rally of Independents expressed its great pride in the contents of the royal speech delivered on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the Throne Day, which King Mohammed VI addressed to the Moroccan people on the evening of Tuesday, July 29, 2025.
In a statement, the party recalled with pride the significant achievements of the Kingdom over the past 26 years of His Majesty the King’s reign, thanks to his long-term vision and sound developmental choices. It particularly praised the diplomatic successes regarding the Moroccan Sahara issue and the support from three permanent members of the Security Council for the autonomy initiative as a serious and realistic solution that enhances peace and development in the region.
The National Rally of Independents commended the overall progress the country has made in various fields, highlighting the King’s commitment to promoting economic and human development and enhancing Morocco’s position among emerging nations, citing positive growth rates despite international crises and recurrent droughts. The party also noted that the King’s directive to the government to adopt a new generation of territorial development programs reflects a strategic vision aimed at addressing disparities and enhancing spatial justice.
On the social front, the party praised the King’s call to utilize the findings of the 2024 General Population Census in shaping public policies, pointing out the positive transformations indicated by this data, including a decrease in multidimensional poverty and Morocco’s rise to the category of countries with high human development.
