The Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts, Social Economy, and Solidarity has announced a series of significant enhancements to the “Go Siyaha” program, aimed at expanding support and boosting investment opportunities while creating new job positions in the tourism sector.
This update aligns with the ministry’s strategy to facilitate access to public support and enable various stakeholders, particularly youth and local entrepreneurs, to benefit more widely from the program, which has so far accompanied over 1,000 projects.
The ministry emphasized that these improvements will take effect starting July 22, 2025, and include the removal of the minimum investment requirement, allowing small projects such as guesthouses, local cooperatives, and cultural and artistic activity centers to benefit from support.
Additionally, the scope of support has been expanded to include existing companies looking to develop new offerings, providing them with opportunities for financial and technical assistance to accelerate the execution of their tourism projects.
Furthermore, technical support during the establishment phase will be strengthened by offering specialized assistance to guide new entrepreneurs in preparing their financial files and building their projects from their initial stages, facilitating the launch of sustainable and robust ventures.
Fatima Zahra Amour, the Minister of Tourism, affirmed that these modifications reflect the ministry’s commitment to aligning with the aspirations of entrepreneurs and meeting their diverse needs, noting that the “Go Siyaha” program aims to support 1,700 tourism projects by 2026.
This development is part of ongoing efforts to diversify the national tourism offering and stimulate investment in a sector that serves as a vital engine for economic growth and job creation in the kingdom.
