The Casablanca Stock Exchange Begins Trading with a Decline

The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened its trading on Tuesday with a decline; its main index, “MASI,” dropped by 0.12 percent, settling at 18,786.37 points.

The “MASI.20” index, reflecting the performance of 20 listed companies, decreased by 0.1 percent to 1,545.15 points, while the “MASI.ESG,” representing the top-rated companies, lost 0.02 percent to stand at 1,309.49 points.

Meanwhile, the “MASI Mid and Small Cap,” which tracks the performance of small and medium-sized listed companies, fell by 0.78 percent to 1,785.16 points.

The “MASI” index had closed on Monday with a gain of 0.86 percent.
