Security forces thwarted an attempt to smuggle a large shipment of hashish in Azemmour.
According to information provided by the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance and under the direct supervision of the regional commander in El Jadida, two vehicles loaded with approximately five tons of hashish were intercepted. One was parked near the city’s entrance, while the other was found in the middle of a residential area.
This operation was carried out by elements of the judicial police stationed in El Jadida, with the support of national security officers from the Azemmour Police Station, as part of field coordination and collaboration between the two agencies.
The judicial police in El Jadida was tasked with investigating the matter under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office to uncover the details and circumstances of the operation and identify all individuals involved in this criminal activity.
