Reports suggest that Wydad Athletic Club is close to retaining Burkinabe player Aziz Ki after reviewing his technical and financial position.
According to Africafoot, the management of the red club is set to activate the option to permanently purchase the player’s contract in the coming hours, following recommendations from the coaching staff led by coach Mohamed Amin Benhashem, who has given the green light to keep Ki in the squad for the upcoming season.
This decision aligns with the club’s strategy to maintain technical and tactical stability, particularly after evaluating the player’s performance and his renewed commitment to the team’s project.
The same source confirmed that Aziz Ki has shown significant flexibility regarding his financial demands and has agreed to revise his monthly salary, convinced by Wydad’s future sporting ambitions, which enhances the likelihood of his continued presence at the club.
