Rabat is preparing for the fourth edition of the “RapAfrica” festival with a musical program that blends modernity and tradition.

The capital, Rabat, will host the fourth edition of the “RapAfrica” festival from August 8 to 17, returning this summer in a new format spanning ten days of diverse musical performances and artistic nights that combine contemporary rhythms and traditional melodies in an open space celebrating various forms of vocal expression.

Organized by the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication under the patronage of King Mohammed VI, the festival has become a staple annual event in the city’s cultural calendar. It aims to cater to a diverse audience through a musical mix that includes Moroccan rap, Hassani songs, popular music, youth music, and global styles.

The organizers are betting on creating an artistic balance between a new generation of young artists and established names with rich artistic backgrounds. Each night of the festival will feature three musical acts from different artists, in an effort to strengthen diversity and integration.

The festival’s official page has revealed a lineup of prominent names, including Badre Sabri, Said Masker, Zina Daoudia, alongside artists such as Vargas, Snor, Halawa, Oumaima Amassidi, Mohamed Adli, Nass El Ghiwan, Ahmed Bensaid, Habib Salama, Dua Lhyaoui, Douzi, Charadi, Ibtissam Tiskat, and Hatim Ammor.

The Rabat audience will also enjoy performances by Hind Nira, Badre Sultan, Distinct, Jilan, DJ Big Kid, Hari, Stormy, Axina, Benny Adam, Lartiste, DJ Deep Soul, Mehdi Mazin, Hajib, and Hamid El Kasri, in evenings that are expected to witness significant audience interaction.

This artistic momentum underscores the festival management’s commitment to presenting a musical showcase that reflects the diversity of the Moroccan artistic scene, reinforcing “RapAfrica” as one of the most prominent cultural events that distinguish the summer in the capital, by merging modernity with tradition and fostering artistic interaction among generations and musical styles.

The organizing committee anticipates a large turnout, based on the success of previous editions and the presence of shining stars in the national scene, promising the audience in the capital vibrant summer nights filled with energy and artistic diversity.
