Morocco Leads North Africa in the Global Freedom Index for 2025

Morocco has ascended to the top of North African countries in the Freedom Index for 2025, according to a recent report released by the American firm Nomad Capitalist, which specializes in tax and citizenship consulting.

The ranking placed Morocco at 101st globally among over 200 countries included in the index, marking it seventh in the Middle East and North Africa region.

The index relied on precise criteria including financial sovereignty, asset protection, and personal freedom. It serves as a reference for investors and individuals seeking a secure and encouraging legal and financial environment.

This ranking enhances Morocco’s image as a destination that combines economic openness with security and sovereignty stability, increasing its attractiveness for regional and international investments.
