Mazraoui Continues to Miss Manchester United Matches: Injury Delays His Appearance in the Summer Tour

Express TV: Mustafa Al-Filali

The absence of Moroccan international Noussair Mazraoui from Manchester United’s friendly matches continues as he prepares for the 2025-2026 season, due to an injury he is gradually recovering from.

The right-back has missed the second consecutive friendly match, having not participated in the clash with Bournemouth, which ended with the Red Devils winning 4-1, following his absence from last Sunday’s game against West Ham.

English reports indicate that Mazraoui, who is 27 years old, is suffering from a minor bruise sustained during a training session last week, and he is expected to be ready to return starting next week, provided his recovery progresses as hoped.

Portuguese coach Ruben Amorim is counting heavily on Mazraoui as part of his plans for the upcoming season, given the balanced performance he has shown since joining the team last summer from Bayern Munich, where he has played 58 matches for Manchester United so far.

Mazraoui still has a chance to participate in the upcoming friendly against Everton, scheduled for next Sunday as part of Manchester United’s summer tour in the United States.
