Car sales continue their upward trend, recording a 36% growth in the first half of 2025.
The Moroccan car market demonstrated strong positive performance in 2025, with sales notably increasing in June, reaching 21,309 units, marking a 34.4% rise compared to the same month last year.
Thanks to this monthly performance, total car sales in the first half of this year reached 112,026 units, reflecting a 36% growth compared to the same period in 2024, demonstrating a clear improvement in demand and ongoing recovery in the sector.
In the category of private cars, 99,309 new units were recorded, an increase of 34%. Meanwhile, light commercial vehicles experienced a noticeable revival, with 12,717 units sold, representing a robust increase of 54.4%.
This continuous growth confirms the dynamism of the car market amid improving consumption indicators and the return of buyer confidence, in addition to a variety of offerings and financing facilities put in place by several stakeholders in the sector.
