Wydad Submits Official Offer to Acquire Zamalek Defender Salah Mssadek on Loan
A A

Wydad SC has made an official offer to acquire Zamalek defender Salah El-Masdaque on a loan basis.

According to Egyptian newspaper “Fi El-Joul,” the offer includes a clause allowing Wydad the option to buy the player permanently at the end of the one-season loan period.

El-Masdaque joined Zamalek in January 2025 from Nahdet Zemamra on a contract lasting three and a half seasons. Since then, he has played 8 matches in the Egyptian Premier League, along with 3 matches in the Egypt Cup and one match in the CAF Confederation Cup.

His total appearances in the 2024-2025 season, including the time spent in the Moroccan league before his transfer to Egypt, reached 29 matches, during which he scored two goals.

The 27-year-old Moroccan defender has emerged as one of the standout players this season, attracting the attention of several clubs looking to bolster their squads. Wydad is particularly keen on reshaping its defense in preparation for upcoming competitions, including the CAF Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup.
