Vietnam Joins BRICS to Enhance Cooperation with Emerging Economies

Vietnam has joined the BRICS group to enhance cooperation with emerging economies.

The spokesperson for the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pham Thu Hang, announced the country’s accession as a partner in the BRICS group of emerging economies, a move aimed at strengthening its multilateral cooperation with member states.

The spokesperson clarified in an official statement that this step reflects Vietnam’s desire to amplify the voice and role of developing nations and contribute to solidifying a multipolar system based on inclusivity and international cooperation.
