The African Union expressed its concern on Thursday regarding the repercussions of a new travel ban imposed by the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump on seven countries in the continent.
In a statement, the African Union said, “The Commission is worried about the potential negative impact of such measures on people-to-people relations, educational exchange, commercial dealings, and the broader diplomatic relations that have been carefully nurtured over decades.”
