Railways Launch Summer Program to Facilitate Travel and Enhance Offers
The National Railway Office has launched a special program for the summer season of 2025, extending until September 14, aimed at easing travel for passengers during the holiday period and ensuring comfortable and safe journeys within Morocco, as well as for Moroccans residing abroad and tourists.
The office has developed this plan to improve customer experience by increasing the number of daily trips, providing special services to popular destinations, launching promotional offers, and seasonal discounts, in addition to implementing digital solutions to facilitate booking and mobilize human and technical resources to ensure service quality.
The office has raised the number of daily trips to 237 trains to cover various regions of the Kingdom, with a special focus on coastal destinations and areas with high summer demand. Regarding the Al Boraq trains, the office has scheduled journeys approximately every hour between Tangier, Kenitra, Rabat, and Casablanca from 6 AM to 10 PM, enhancing capacity during peak times and connecting these destinations with the rest of the network.
The office has also doubled the number of daily trips for Atlas trains to over 70 journeys, strengthening the link between Tangier and Oujda, especially for long night journeys, and providing equipped sleeping cars like hotel cabins for greater passenger comfort.
Additionally, the office has allocated 38 rapid service trains to facilitate transportation to and from Mohammed V International Airport, with an average of one train every hour from 5 AM to 11 PM, and increased the number of daily trips on the Casablanca-Jadida route to 24 trains. Services continue on other main routes, especially Casablanca-Rabat-Kenitra and Casablanca-Settat. Furthermore, bus services have been enhanced through "Supratour" to connect stations with destinations not directly linked by trains.
The office has launched a range of promotional offers targeted at all passenger categories, notably the “Yalla Morocco” tourist card at a nominal price of 50 dirhams, providing a 30% discount on 10 trips across all types of trains until August 31, 2025. A special “Welcome” fare has also been introduced for Moroccans abroad, with discounts of up to 15% on outbound journeys from Mohammed V Airport, Tangier, and Marrakech until September 15, 2025.
The office also offers a three-month summer subscription card, including three free round-trip tickets to a destination of the customer’s choice, along with discounts of up to 40% when visiting some partner institutions such as the Rabat Zoo, the National Museums Foundation, and the train + car service.
In the context of digitizing services, the office has launched the ONCF VOYAGES app for mobile ticket purchases, offering an additional 5% discount, seat selection, ticket downloading, and booking record monitoring. Services remain available through the official website and authorized sales outlets.
The office advises customers to purchase their round-trip tickets in advance to avoid waiting and ensure seating, especially during peak times, affirming the mobilization of all human and logistical resources from assistance teams within stations and on trains, in addition to technical teams monitoring train operations around the clock.
Several communication channels have been established for customer contact, including the website, call center 2255, the ONCF TRAFIC app for tracking train movements, and a support service via the number 0667652255.
