Moroccan U17 Futsal Team Clinches Title at “Castro Yel Rio” Tournament with a Clean Sheet in Spain

The Moroccan national futsal team for players under 17 continued its international brilliance by winning the “Castro Yel Rio” friendly tournament held in Spain, securing victory in all three of its matches.

The team kicked off its campaign with a significant win against France, finishing the match 8-4, demonstrating dominance from the early minutes and showing great harmony across its playing lines. In the second match, the Moroccan team faced a strong opponent in Spain, yet the Atlas Cubs delivered an outstanding collective performance that led them to a 4-2 victory, which was described as the strongest match of the tournament.

In the final game on Sunday, the Moroccans had no trouble overcoming the United States, triumphing with a score of 10-2, affirming their technical and physical superiority and rightfully claiming the tournament title.

This victory reflects the ongoing grassroots work in youth futsal and confirms Morocco’s continued leadership at both the continental and international levels in this sport.
