Evariste Ngamana, President of the African Parliament of the Economic Community of Central African States (CEMAC), affirmed that the southern regions of Morocco serve as a strategic axis for investment and regional cooperation. This statement was made during the Moroccan-African Economic Parliamentary Forum held in Laayoune.

The African leader noted the significant transformation the area is undergoing, stating that massive investments in infrastructure have turned it into an attractive economic destination. He highlighted the noticeable developments in transportation, education, and cultural facilities.

Ngamana described Laayoune as the "city of the future" due to its modern infrastructure and favorable investment climate. He called upon African businesspeople to seize the opportunities available in the region.

He reiterated the importance of joint African cooperation, considering the development model in the southern provinces as a reference for the continent. He praised the wise royal vision that has established the Moroccan Sahara as a model for sustainable development.
