The International Academic Forum for Plastic Arts is set to take place in Mohammedia from July 4 to 8, 2025, organized by the “Art Wave” Association, featuring a selection of Moroccan plastic artists and researchers alongside their counterparts from the Arab world and other countries. This major event aims to combine creativity and academia, fostering a distinctive artistic dynamic and enhancing cultural and artistic dialogue among peoples.
This edition is part of the vision of the “Art Wave” Association, one of the most prominent active organizations in the Moroccan artistic scene, continuing its efforts to support various art schools and movements through exhibitions, workshops, meetings, and seminars, while emphasizing national creativity and linking it to regional and international contexts.
The forum aims to establish art as a driver for parallel cultural diplomacy, highlighting accomplishments in plastic arts both within Morocco and abroad, and creating spaces for exchanging experiences between artists from diverse generations and cultural backgrounds, with a view towards enhancing shared creativity.
It is noteworthy that the “Art Wave” Association has maintained a prominent presence at several significant international events in Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, and Marrakech, among others, as part of its tireless efforts to expand artistic and cultural cooperation both nationally and internationally.
The program includes group exhibitions, technical and training workshops, and intellectual seminars discussing the realities and transformations of plastic art in light of global changes. It will also serve as a platform for showcasing artistic and academic projects and expanding collaboration circles among creators.
This event will receive extensive national and international media coverage, along with a strong presence through digital platforms and social media, enhancing the event’s visibility and solidifying its status as a prominent annual artistic appointment in the Moroccan and Arab cultural agenda.
