The government council will hold a meeting next Thursday, chaired by Aziz Akhannouch, the Prime Minister, to discuss a number of draft laws, decrees, and agreements.
The council will begin its proceedings by examining a draft law concerning the establishment of the National Agency for Child Protection, along with the related child protection centers and social care institutions for children.
Additionally, the council will review three draft decrees, the first of which pertains to amending the decree related to the implementation of the Traffic Code concerning vehicles. The second concerns the establishment and organization of the National Higher Institute of Music and Choreography, while the third involves amending the decree related to the powers and organization of the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
The council will continue its agenda by studying an agreement in the field of air services between the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Government of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, signed in the city of Laayoune on January 17, 2025, along with a draft law to approve the aforementioned agreement.
The council will conclude its proceedings by reviewing proposals for appointments to senior positions in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 of the Constitution.
