Temporary Modifications to Casablanca Bus Lines Managed by Alsa to Accompany Urban Development Works
The "Casablanca Buses" company, managed by the Alsa Group, announced the implementation of temporary modifications to several public transport lines. This move aligns with the ongoing urban development works in Casablanca. It reflects the company’s commitment to adapt to the rapid urban transformation and ensure a continuous, effective, and safe transportation service for citizens.
The company clarified that these adjustments aim to cope with the temporary closures of various road axes. The changes will affect the routes and temporary stops of certain lines, while others will return to their original routes as construction progresses.
In this context, it was announced that lines L608 and L064 will return to their regular routes after completing a significant part of the work that necessitated their temporary rerouting.
Lines Affected by Temporary Modifications:
- Line L800 (from Tarik Mosque to Mohammedia College)
- Line L900 (from Port Train Station to Rachidia)
- Line L32D (from Ben M’Sik College to ISTA HTM, Hay Hassani)
- Line L904 (from Tit Mellil to ISTA HTM, Hay Hassani)
- Line L039 (from Al-Mazabiyin to the bus station)
- Line L064 (from Oued El Dahab to Bernoussi)
- Line L079 (from Sidi Maarouf Square to Anassi Tram Station)
- Line L306 (from Al-Khayaita to Alsa Museum)
- Line L051 (from Al-Rahma to the bus station)
- Line L107 (from Al-Tachark to Lissa Essaouira)
"Casablanca Buses managed by Alsa" confirmed that these modifications are part of a series of proactive measures accompanying major urban projects, aimed at facilitating movement within the economic capital. The company also expressed gratitude to the residents of Casablanca for their cooperation and understanding during this transitional phase, reaffirming its commitment to continuously improve the quality of services provided to bus users.
These clarifications are part of the company’s efforts to keep passengers informed, as "Casablanca Buses" continues to issue the "Mobility Update" bulletin, which provides regularly updated details about the changes to routes and schedules. This bulletin aims to enhance communication and transparency between the company and the community, facilitating daily planning for their journeys within the city.
