Cristiano Ronaldo officially renews his contract with Al-Nassr until 2027

Al-Nassr has clarified the future of its star player, Cristiano Ronaldo, by announcing today, Thursday, the extension of the Portuguese forward’s contract for an additional two seasons, ensuring his association with the club until the summer of 2027.

This announcement comes to put an end to a series of rumors over the past months, linking the 40-year-old to a move to one of the clubs participating in the FIFA Club World Cup, amidst uncertainty surrounding his future with “The Global,” especially with the expiry of his previous contract on June 30.

Ultimately, Ronaldo has chosen to continue his journey in the Saudi Professional League, where his signing with Al-Nassr in December 2022 marked a significant milestone in the movement of top stars to Saudi football.

This extension is part of Al-Nassr’s ongoing commitment to leverage Ronaldo’s experience in leading the team toward local and continental titles, along with capitalizing on his immense popularity for global marketing and outreach.
