Over 10,000 narcotic pills seized and two arrested at the entrance of Oujda
The police of the Oujda Security Directorate, in close coordination with the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance, arrested two individuals on Thursday evening, June 26, who are suspected of being linked to a criminal network involved in drug trafficking and psychedelic pills. A large quantity of narcotic substances was seized in their possession.
The arrests took place at the entrance of the city as they arrived in a car coming from one of the northern cities of the kingdom. During the search operation, 10,820 pills of various types were seized, along with 2 kilograms and 798 grams of hashish and a sum of money believed to be derived from this illegal activity.
The arrested individuals have been placed at the disposal of a judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office to determine the further potential links of this criminal activity and to apprehend all the other alleged accomplices in this network.
