New Appointments in Senior Positions Across Strategic Sectors

Oussar Ahmed

The weekly meeting of the government council, held today, Thursday, June 12, 2025, approved a new wave of appointments in senior positions. This initiative comes as part of the effort to strengthen administrative structures and reaffirm the principle of competence in public affairs management, in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 of the Kingdom’s Constitution.

In the education sector, Mounia Mozouri has been appointed head of the Regional Academy of Education and Training for the Eastern Region, while Hind Ben Habib has been entrusted with the role of General Director of Planning, Resources, and Contracts. This move reflects the ministry’s commitment to assigning responsibilities to experienced female professionals.

At the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Rashid Bahi has been appointed as Director of Various Industrial Activities, a role of strategic significance in light of the industrial challenges facing the Kingdom amid ongoing economic transformations.

In the sector of higher education, scientific research, and innovation, the council approved the appointment of Mohamed Belayeh as director of the Teacher Training Institute in Tétouan. This aligns with efforts to enhance academic training and improve the quality of teacher preparation.

These appointments underscore a continuous dynamic in the restructuring and modernization of public administration, in line with the goals of reform and the demands of efficiency and good governance.
